Collect Care Coins & Save

It's a fact that pets age more quickly than people, and believe it or not, pets of any age can have underlying issues.

To ensure they are in great health and living their best lives, annual physical exams and preventive care diagnostics help our veterinary team understand your pet and monitor changes in their health.

Paws-itive Points Program at Cranbrook Veterinary Hospital

Keeping Your Pet Healthy Inside & Out

Preventive veterinary care, like physical exams and preventive diagnostics, are key to ensuring your pet's ongoing health and our Paws-itive Points program rewards you with savings on routine preventive care.

How to Redeem Paws-itive Points

Paws-itive Points Care Coins are awarded based on the total cost of the professional service and parasiticide prescriptions itemized per invoice. They can be redeemed for the following preventive care services:

  • Wellness Annual Exam, Senior Pet Exam, Senior Pet Bi-Annual Progress Exam

Redeem 4 Care Coins for $20 Off

A preventive care exam is a routine check-up to assess the overall health of your pet. These exams are important for detecting any potential health issues early on and ensuring your pet stays healthy and happy.

If you have a senior pet, they may need to visit our office more frequently so that issues can be detected more quickly, or on-going conditions can be monitored.

  • Wellness Blood Screen with Urine

Redeem 15 Care Coins for $75 Off

A blood screen is a diagnostic test that examines the overall health of your pet by measuring various parameters, such as organ function, blood cell counts, and electrolyte levels. This test can help detect early signs of illness or underlying health issues before they become more serious.

We can also examine your dog or cat's urine to check in on their digestive system and see if anything is amiss there.

  • Senior Pet Blood Screen with Thyroid

Redeem 15 Care Coins for $75 Off

Using a blood sample, we can also check on your dog or cat's thyroid. Since the thyroid is responsible for your pet's metabolic state, it's important to make sure it is working properly. While hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid) is more common in dogs, hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid) is more common in cats.

  • Senior Pet Blood Screen with Thyroid and Urine

Redeem 18 Care Coins for $90 Off

During this test, we can check your pet's thyroid via a blood test, and we can check for signs of other medical conditions in the urine.

  • Dental Cleaning Only (does not include xrays or extractions)

Redeem 20 Care Coins for $100 Off

A dental cleaning involves removing plaque and tartar buildup from a pet’s teeth. It is an important preventative measure to maintain your pet's oral health and overall well-being.
